Lignitec® is an organic mulch made of wood chips from cultivated French forests. A very peculiar attention is deserved to the selection of the raw material for the production of Lignitec. It is a product of quality which is made in accordance with the respect of environment.

Lignitec® is subjected to a thermic treatment and a mineralization of a patented process. The aim of these treatments is the total disinfection of the product. These treatments also aim at eliminate phenol, terpin, and other volatile substances and reinforce the natural resistances of the plant to degradation factors.

Lignitec® can be associated with all types of fertilizers. It complies with the NF U44-551 manufacturing standard.

Lignitec® is easy to use with a repotting machine and does not slow down the repotting process. It does not imply either an increase of labour.

During the cultivation period (from 6 to 8 months), Lignitec® limits heaving (plant roots forced upward out of soil).

As a permeable product, Lignitec can be associated with all sorts of watering and does not stop gas trade inside the compost. Lignitec protects the soil against erosion and maintains a more even soil temperature even in the warmth of the sun.

Lignitec® is compatible with every soil fertilizers.

Lignitec® eliminates chemical damages due to weed-killers and is efficient when some plant roots infest the plant and resist selective products such as Marchantia.

Lignitec® keeps feet clean, cools soil surface and stabilizes soil temperature throughout the year.

Lignitec® is largely affordable and is a very good alternative to chemical products while respecting the rules of an industrial concern.
